Continuing Education Approvals

  1. The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) has granted approval of contact hours for current and upcoming modules in the Professional Service Coordinator Certificate Program (PSC) through AASC Provider #886407257. Contact hours are indicated with each module description on the modules page of this website.

  2. The Ohio Counselor, Social Worker & Marriage and Family Therapist Board approves the following modules for Social Worker Continuing Professional Education. Approval Number: MSX080715.

    As additional modules are introduced to the program, they will be submitted for approval. Please note, Ohio social workers are permitted to earn up to 10 hours of CPE's every two years through distance education.

  3. All participants who do not qualify for continuing education credit through granting organizations noted here, are granted continuing education credit from the OSU Office of Geriatrics and Gerontology, The Ohio State University Health Sciences Center, for each PSC Module. Notation is indicated on the Documentation of Successful Completion, which is provided upon successful completion of each module. This documentation may be presented to your professional organization for consideration toward required licensure continuing education.
