Is online learning right for you?

- Are you interested in convenience when pursuing continuing education and professional training?
- Are you comfortable asking for more clarification and continuing to ask when you need more information?

- Do you have experience surfing the World Wide Web?
- Do you have good access to the Web?
- Are you comfortable working primarily with a text-based medium?
If you answered "yes" to most of these questions, you should do fine with online learning. There will be readily available student support to help insure your success as you move through the program.
The Professional Service Coordinator Certificate Program will be offered via distance education, making it important that all participants have access to appropriate computer equipment. Participants will only need basic computer skills in order to participate in the program, and tutorial material will be offered to insure the program is user-friendly for all involved.
- Do you have a computer readily available for your use and does it meet the following specifications?
- Pentium or better with Widows 98 or better, or a Macintosh running at least OS 9
- A dial-up modem (28.8 or better) and/or a high-speed connection (cable modem, DSL)
- Flash

THESE SPECIFICATIONS ARE THE MINIMUM NEEDED FOR THIS PROGRAM. MORE ADVANCED SYSTEMS ARE FASTER AND EASIER TO WORK WITH.
