What to Expect When Taking the Exam at a Testing Site

When you arrive at your chosen testing site, the proctor will have a unique PIN to unlock the Exam.  You must provide a photo ID and a copy of the verification email you received from Ohio State in order to verify your identity. The name on your PSC account must match the name on your photo ID.

  • IMPORTANT:  At the exam site, you will log in at http://aasc.osu.eduBe sure to take your Username and Password to the online exam. Testing sites do not have access to your account.  Once logged in, click on "My Account" and then "Click here" to enter the Comprehensive Exam Online site and begin your exam."  Note:  Once you follow the online exam link you will not be able to access your PSC modules or account information.    
  • You will have two hours to complete and review the exam. There are a total of 80 questions. A minimum score of 80% must be earned in order to pass. 
  • You will be given an opportunity to visit the restroom and/or attend to any pending responsibilities before the proctor enters the PIN to unlock the exam.  Leaving the exam computer during the exam period is discouraged unless absolutely necessary. 
  • You will be asked to turn off your cell phone and any other electronic devices and stow them with your other personal belongings. These items may not be accessed again until you have completed and submitted the exam for grading.  You will receive your grade prior to leaving the testing site.
  • If you or the Proctor have a last minute question about the exam, please contact The Office of Geriatrics and Interprofessional Aging Studies at 614-293-4815 during standard business hours eastern time.

Once the proctor enters the Exam PIN you will be provided with additional information about the exam. The two hour time period will not begin until you select the "Start Exam" button on the next screen.
